   Overview
The Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) under the U.S. Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration(PHMSA) collects, compiles, and analyzes pipeline safety data to aid in decision making associated with regulation revisions, compliance, and training. OPS maintain a system for compiling accident/safety-related condition reports submitted by hazardous liquid pipeline and natural gas pipeline operators.
   Coverage
The data covers the entire length of natural gas, and hazardous liquid transmission and distribution pipelines in the U.S.
