Operating costs per mile and ownership costs per year are estimated. Total cost per mile is given for vehicles driven 10,000, 15,000, and 25,000 annually.

Available data series include 1) estimated cost of gas and oil, maintenance and tires per mile and 2) estimated cost of insurance, license, registration, taxes, and depreciation per year.
